1. The extra hole in the sink ( known as overflow hole)
You see that circled hole right there in the sink. Ever wondered, what it is for? To be honest, I just had a brief idea of what that is but on searching it on the web, I realized what it is for. It serves multiple functions. It prevents overflow of water from the sink with the drain stopper engaged and also helps provide an escape route for air in the drain ensuring fast draining of water. The air otherwise could have slowed the draining of water.
2. Straw holder of a soda can, do you know where it is?

One tab with two functions and I didn't care to know about this earlier. Anyways, now we know what it can be used for. Simply twist it such that the hole in the tab aligns with the opening of the container, put the straw in the can through that hole, and enjoy your soda!
