How Effective is Leaving Things To Your Fate and Destiny?

How Effective is Leaving Things To Your Fate and Destiny?

If you are here to check out the answer to this question, you are in the right place but just a disclaimer, the answer is not very straightforward.

Destiny and fate, are both words that are meant to be connected to a pre-determined future. Have you ever wondered what is difference between these two?

Let's first delve deep into the meaning of two words and how these words differ.

The word fate traces back to the Latin word fatum, meaning “that which has been spoken” and is often attributed to divine principles. On the other hand, destiny word comes from the Latin verb dēstināre, meaning “to determine”  and therefore is often presented as a result of our actions.

Now going back to our question: How Effective is Leaving Things To Your Fate and Destiny?

While the answer completely varies from person to person, here is the breakdown for you.

1. It is completely ineffective if you do not have confidence in yourself and you take actions completely based on others' opinions.

How?

Let's get to it:

Even if you believe that you have no control over your fate, you are the one who is going to be responsible for your actions and your actions will determine your destiny. You might argue that if fate is pred-determined, changing destiny with actions would not matter much.

But that's NOT true.

If you start thinking like this, you tend to get yourself into a complex situation. Let me explain, you start taking actions under influence of others without thinking of the consequences, which is not something that is going to harm you straight away unless you are putting all your assets at risk in a gamble. What is going to make this situation complex is the domino effect, which means one event or one action of yours leads to another or even a cascade of those events.

Let me make it clear, it is not necessary that the outcome would be disastrous. Things get worse when others start making decisions in your life because this domino effect eventually leads to situations where all these events have already happened and now you have a mere observer with no control, making you a bystander in your own life.

2. It is highly likely to be effective if you have confidence in your actions even though you might be taking a risk. Here the difference is that you know your actions and have set expectations of those consequences based on your OWN actions.

The difference in the 2nd point origins from the fact that you know your actions, you have your own considerations, and you have evaluated the risks and rewards. In situations, in which you have not preplanned, you might fail to direct your destiny the way you want, but if you are confident in your feasible actions, you can certainly aim in the right direction. Your next set of actions will eventually let you achieve your destiny.

Now you have every right to argue that if fate has a divine purpose and if it is unchangeable, why should you even try to direct your destiny?

The answer is very straightforward for this one!

'You Miss 100% Of The Shots You Don't Take.'

So why not try aiming to orient your life. Having an optimistic belief about fate isn't harmful but it gets worse when you tend to think that your fate is not good and that taking actions won't do any good!

SO, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND PLAN YOUR ACTIONS. BE OPTIMISTIC ABOUT YOUR FATE AND THINGS WILL WORK THE WAY YOU WANT. EVEN IF THEY DON'T WORK ONCE, TRYING MULTIPLE TIMES WILL CERTAINLY GIVE YOU THE RESULT!
